Support Lu :)

two teenagers sit next to each other outdoors amidst lush greenery. They each hold up a paper mustache on a stick in front of their faces.
This is a photo of me and my friend Lu. We've been inseparable friends since the tenth grade. They have a genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which makes their connective tissues too stretchy, which leads to frequent joint dislocations, circulation problems, digestive issues and frequent fainting. In spite of their chronic illness, Lu's been my friend and confidante and cheerleader throughout all the years we've known each other, and they're one of the people who has always encouraged me to keep developing my art! They are also a very smart and hardworking tech person who just earned a Microsoft certificate in Cybersecurity while being sick, and they are available to work 👀 so send an email if you are looking for some help in this domain.

Due to Ehlers Danlos syndrome it's pretty hard for Lu to work enough hours to cover basic life costs, so I try to chip in when I can.  If you feel inclined to do so as well, please see their page here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/tgbskj-a-new-life

Those of you who've been following my artistic projects for a couple of years will remember that I was raising money to get Lu a motorized wheelchair. The good news is that there's now about 2000 Canadian dollars saved up, but the bad news is that Lu currently lives in a non-accessible apartment where there's no ramps or elevator for the wheelchair to be used :( so that money is just waiting for now.

In the meantime, additional funds can be used for other important things like safer transportation, healthy food, and occasional medical costs that are not covered by public healthcare.
