About

Hello!

My name is Alexandra (she/her) and I'm the person behind Alexandra's Atelier. I have created it as a platform to showcase all the things I want to share with the world! It's usually colourful, it's often scrappy, and it's always from the heart. On Instagram I share my process and my thoughts, and in my shop you'll find all the items that I make as a way to keep my hands busy and keep my mind focused.

Sustainability

I often use synthetic or non-biodegradable materials because I try to limit consumption and use whatever I've got on hand. I make a big effort to waste as little as possible. Most items that I sell are one-of-a-kind or made in small limited-edition batches, depending on my inspiration and the availability of certain materials.

Land Acknowledgment:

Alexandra's Atelier is a white settler-owned artistic project based in Tiohtià:ke (also known as Mooniyang or Montreal), in unceded lands where the Kanien’kehá:ka, the Anishinaabe, and many other indigenous nations meet and live. The land here and its people, as well as the River have been here since time immemorial and Alexandra's Atelier will humbly strive to act with respect and care towards its hosts. Please feel free to send messages through the contact form if you have feedback or concerns on how I can do better!
